About PEKAT VISION

PEKAT VISION was founded in 2017 by Petr Šmíd, an AI enthusiast and visionary who recognized early on that deep learning had the potential to transform industrial inspection. What began as a search for practical and reliable AI tools for manufacturing evolved into a company delivering advanced machine vision solutions to customers worldwide.

Driven by a strong focus on usability, accuracy, and real industrial results, PEKAT VISION developed a deep-learning platform trusted across demanding industries such as automotive, electronics, pharmaceuticals, and food production.

In 2022, PEKAT VISION became part of the Datalogic Group, a global leader in factory automation. Since then, the two teams have worked closely together on customer projects, combining PEKAT VISION’s AI expertise with Datalogic’s long-standing experience in algorithmic machine vision and industrial hardware.

This collaboration led to the introduction of joint solutions, including the MX-G2000 Vision Processor, which brings together PEKAT VISION’s deep learning capabilities with Datalogic’s proven machine vision technologies. Since 2024, AI functionality has been further expanded across additional Datalogic product lines, enabling customers to deploy integrated and intelligent inspection solutions more easily.

Today, PEKAT VISION and Datalogic together offer a unified machine vision portfolio that helps manufacturers improve quality, increase productivity, and scale their operations with confidence.
